Northern Bukidnon State College Unveils the Green Room: A Hub for Creative Production
Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Green Room, a state-of-the-art facility designed to ignite creative expression and empower students and faculty last December 11, 2024.
The Green Room emerges as an educational hub that seamlessly blends advanced technology with inspiring environments, catering to a diverse range of artistic disciplines. It provides students and faculty with the tools and resources necessary to excel in today’s dynamic creative landscape, including the creation of effective instructional materials. This space fosters innovation and collaboration, empowering users to produce high-quality content across various media while enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
The Green Room offers a versatile array of creative spaces, including a fully equipped recording studio designed for audio production with soundproofing, high-quality microphones, mixing consoles, and instruments, ideal for musicians, podcasters, and sound engineers. It also features a film and video production studio, complete with cameras, lighting rigs, green screens, and sets, alongside dedicated areas for editing and post-production. Additionally, the photography studio provides a controlled environment with adjustable lighting, backdrops, and props, enabling users to experiment with creative lighting and achieve stunning visual effects.
This achievement is made possible through the strong support from the College President, Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, and the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Helen E. Maasin. This endeavor underscores the college’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and essential 21st-century skills within the academic community.
